Tell your chatbot
In ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok: “When I get to the office, remind me to badge in.” The bot saves it as a routine on your account over MCP.
Tell your chatbot what to do when you get there. Your phone makes it happen.
Ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok to remind you, ping a webhook, or run a prompt when you arrive somewhere. Hyperlocal is the app that watches the place and fires the routine.
HOW IT ROLLS
Chatbots are great at understanding what you want. They can’t follow you around town. Hyperlocal connects the two: you set up the routine in conversation, and your phone runs it in the real world.
In ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok: “When I get to the office, remind me to badge in.” The bot saves it as a routine on your account over MCP.
The place becomes a circle on the map, with a radius, an enter or dwell trigger, and a cooldown so GPS jitter can’t spam you.
The Hyperlocal app watches the fence in the background. When you arrive, you get the reminder, a webhook fires, or your stored prompt runs and the reply lands on your phone.
SIDE A: ROUTINES
Every routine is a place, a trigger, and something that happens when you get there. A few to get you started:
When I get to the office, remind me to badge in.
As I’m getting home, summarize my non-work email.
If I’m at the gym for ten minutes, ping my tracker.
WHY AN APP?
A chatbot only runs while you’re chatting with it. It can’t hold location permission, set up geofences, or wake up after you close the tab. A real native app on your phone can do all three.
The chatbot is the editor. Create, change, and delete routines just by asking.
The phone is the sensor. It handles GPS, the OS’s own geofences, and background wakeups, then delivers the result.
One account ties it together. Your bot only sees and manages your routines.
